International Day of Peace

"Songs and Music to build a Culture of Peace:

Filipinos in Alberta celebrating the International Day of Peace"

Peace means a world that upholds nonviolence, social justice, human rights, intercultural understanding, environmental sustainability, and inner peace. Hence, a Culture of Peace is multi-dimensional and holistic.

LINGAP-Canada was proud to host an online forum and concert to celebrate the 2021 International Day of Peace! To keep the commemoration alive we are have posted the concert video below as well as on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. We encourage you to watch and share as peace is something we should all be promoting and living in our everyday lives!

Watch the performances of more than twenty groups and individuals representing associations in the Filipino-Canadian community of Alberta as well as guest artists from Canada and the Philippines.
