2023 World Environment Day Poster Art Contest

Our planet is choking on plastic. It is time to change how we produce, consume, and dispose of the plastic we use. To celebrate World Environment Day, LINGAP Canada invites Alberta, Canada and Philippine students (Grade School and High School) to participate in an Art Contest

About The Event

CONTEST RULES

Students are encouraged to produce an original design depicting this year’s theme: #BeatPlasticPolution

  • Entry must be an original artwork created by a student who is currently enrolled in grade school, and high school (1-12 grade).
  • Artwork must be related to the contest theme. The theme should be exemplified on the artwork.
  • Original Artwork may be done in acrylic, colored pencil, crayon, ink, marker, paint pens, tempera paint, or watercolor.
  • Artwork must be designed using the following dimension:

All Entries can be sizes A4 (8x11), A3 (11X17), or A2(16X23) 

  • Artwork must be scanned/or photographed for electronic submission (uploaded on the registration form) as a JPEG or PNG file with a resolution of 300 DPI.
  • Entries must be accompanied by a Teacher’s Certification that the entry is the original work of the student.
  • Student must register for the contest online and electronically submit their artwork by the DEADLINE: May 30, 2023. (Email: lingapcanada@yahoo.com)

Announcement of winners:

The World Environment Day Art Contest offers an opportunity for students in grade school, and high school (grades 1 to 12), to express their concern and care for our planet Earth through artwork. All entries will be featured on LINGAP’s website & the Alberta Filipino Journal. Winners will receive prize and certificate of appreciation.
