WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
POSTER CONTEST
In 1972, the United Nations General Assembly established the World Environment Day (WED) on June 5 and since then WED is observed by millions of people across the world. The WED is celebrated by engaging governments, businesses, celebrities, and citizens to focus their efforts on a pressing environmental issue. This year, 2022, the official theme is: THERE IS #OnlyOneEarth, TOGETHER WE CAN PROTECT IT.

Students are encouraged to produce an original design depicting this year’s theme. The theme highlights the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature through transformative changes – towards cleaner, greener lifestyles, environmental and social justice focusing on Canada or the Philippines.
